Plastic: thermoplastic; thermoset; composite; TPR
Metal Application To: rubber; plastic
Our product line includes plastic and rubber parts. We work with Thermoplastic resin formulations including most engineering plastics. Thermoset plastics are available in sheet and parts, plain and composites. Many of the plastics that we work with can be metallized for EMI/RFI shielding or a Cosmetic appearance. We can apply a metal jacket to rubber extrusions. These materials can be engineered in combination with reinforcements such as fiberglass or carbon fiber and can be integrated into structures with core layers. Our Rubber formulations include both dense and foamed, compounded to your requirements, ranging from natural rubber to Viton and Fluorosilicone. Polyurethane can fill your specialty elastomeric applications or low volume, enclosure applications. Combining and compounding materials for optimum performance is often the key to efficiently engineered products.
Two examples:
1) We have compounded highly conductive rubber to produce emi/rfi radiation
shields.
2) We select glass specially oriented fibers and cores to achieve a
combination of strength, stiffness and lightness.
We often supply materials across a wide range of processes such as; die-cut, molded, extruded, metallized, and cast.
In addition, we have bonding and sealing capabilities to other substrates like metal and ceramics.
The first step in the design for manufacture of any
part is to establish the part specifications. This includes defining various constraints:
1.Functional Constraints
2.Assembly Constraints
3.Performance Constraints
